Leo Tolstoy on God

LEO TOLSTOY ON GOD: "When you look inside yourself, you see what is called 'your own self' or your soul. You cannot touch it or see it or understand it, but you know it is there. And this part of yourself--that which you cannot understand--is what is called God. God is both around us and inside of us--in our souls.

The more you understand that you are at one with God, the more you will understand that you are at one with all His worldly manifestations."

Keep A Balance In All Things and In All Ways!

Wisdom, Strength and Love are Reborn in Me Today!***

Every year, I see the rebirth of spring as the grass turns green, flowers bud and the leaves and blossoms burst forth on the trees. Each sign of spring occurs at the
right and perfect time, when the earth is ready to generate new life.

My personal springtime occurs as I open my heart and mind to the Divine.
To prepare my soul for rebirth, I pray and meditate....

As in nature, my renewal comes precisely when my soul is receptive and ready."

"In his hand is the life of every living thing
and the breath of every human being." Job 12:10

In this decade of my life, I'm learning that no matter what I'm going through, what is essential is to "keep a balance in all things and in all ways."

When life is rolling out smoothly, we all have a tendency to go "over the top" with joy; when life is not flowing smoothly, we get "down in the dumps."

I was like that too. But I've learned that in "all things" and in "all ways," God is my "all sufficiency!"

I got this line from one of the prayer room workers at Unity, where I'd called when I was at my wits' end!

This man gently and firmly affirmed for me what I could not affirm for myself, much less acknowledge: "God is Your All Sufficiency!"

When I came out of that "crisis," I vowed to always use those words when I felt I could not go on.

I've learned since to use those words throughout each and every situation, not only when I'm in dire straits!

"God is My All Sufficency!"

God...is...my...all...sufficency...

God is enough!

I don't need to go over the top with joy when my life "feels right," as it is the action of God that is making all good things come to me.

I don't need to get down in the dumps when my life seems as if it's not working; God still is there, working through me and through my life and affairs, healing what needs to be healed and righting all that is wrong. Although we may not be able to see "behind the scene" or through the "veiled curtain" God is there.

God is always there.

The Sales field is one invites people to go up and down with the flow of "their good coming to them."

Some people manage to stay steady throughout it all.

Others get euphoric, then go all the
way down, when their sales are down.

When I see this, I want to run and hug those
people and say, "Keep your perspective, God
is in charge."

Obviously, I can't...so I say a protecting prayer for them instead, like:
"The light of God Surrounds You
The Love of God Enfolds You
The Power of God Protects You
The Presence of God Watches Over You
Whereever you ARE, God is!"
And All is Well!

We know that life naturally has an ebb and flow.
We cannot ever predict when it will flow towards
us or away from us.

So, we need to stay steady and calm throughout
the worst of storms and throughout the best of
sunshine!
Life is Glorious!

But the glory must come from our connection
with the within!

Life is Splendid!

But the spendor must come from our
connection with the within!

Life is Joyous!

But the joy must come from our connection
with the within!

Life is an evolution.

The evolution must come from our willingness
to allow our Soul free passage within us.

We must not hinder our growth...our evolution...
by putting roadblocks in the way through
fear, anger, hatred, animosity.

Those are the roadblocks to the joy, glory,
spendor and absolute freedom we seek!

We cannot evolve, much less thrive, when
we are beleaguered with obstacle courses.

Those are the times our lives begin to shutdown.

If we truly could predict the ebb and flow
of life, that is the time we would see:
life does stop flowing when we halt our openness
to it and our willingness to listen and accommodate
its yearning for passage through us.

Learn to Let Go!

Learn to Let it Flow!

Learn to keep a balance in the best of times!

Learn to keep a balance in the worst of times!

God is your all sufficiency through it all.

Trust Always in the Goodness of God!

Namaste',
