How Can You Talk About "A Pact With the Devil" ...IF...he doesn't Know YOUR Name?

We are "Spiritual Beings" having a HUMAN Experience.

What this means is that when we do enough of this "human" living, we get to a point where we know and recognize that there is something GREATER at work in and through our lives and affairs.

Yet, so many people REFUSE to acknowledge this Presence and this Power in their lives, as their lives.

That's their call.

But when people GO beyond human decency to state that they know "bad things" are happening to others because they have "made a pact with the devil," then TRULY the devil must know them by NAME!


To recognize that

"There is only ONE Presence and ONE Power in the Universe and that is God, the Good, the Omnipotent..."

is NOT to know and believe in the existence and power of the "devil."

I know not everyone follows the Unity beliefs, but I do, and yet I also know that there are forces of EVIL that exist in the world...but these come from our humanity! The difference with me and some others is that I simply don't give these forces POWER in my life, as I believe ONLY in the GOODNESS of God.


So when your "mercy" for others includes sympathizing with them by stating they are suffering because of a "pact made with the devil," then you surely must be offering up the DEAL you made with him to PRESERVE YOUR SOUL!

You cannot Be Good and Do Good in the world...and believe in God and also the power of the Devil...it doesn't WORK that way with God.

As the bible says, " For I the Lord, thy God, I AM a JEALOUS GOD!" Deuteronomy 5:9


So the fact that you're making good your way in this world means that the Devil is leaving YOU alone because he's understood your acquiescence to him ...and he calls you "SON!"


This to me is the only way...you can understand, much less speak, about a "pact with the devil."

Some people NOT understanding their reasons for walking this earth and not understanding the power within them CRUMBLE at the FIRST sign of "trouble!"

They give up...and yes...they probably make a "pact with the devil" then to do whatever he wants him or her to do.


The God I believe in WANTS US TO WALK WITH HIM IN AND THROUGH HIM when we have "trouble" in the world.

"In the world, ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

John 16: 33


That's WHAT the story OF Jesus is ALL About!

It's about WALKING INTO TROUBLE...THROUGH TROUBLE...AND RISING ABOVE TROUBLE.

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written, For Thy sake we are killed ALL the Day Long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For I am persuaded,that neither, death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 8: 33-39


The story OF Jesus is about Not GIVING in to the Devil, when the first sign of trouble comes.

The story OF Jesus is the story about walking IN FAITH in the GLORY OF GOD and looking to HIM...and ONLY HIM....for deliverance.

Walking with God INVITES "trouble" to appear!

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind."

II Timothy 1:7

Often, those who are beleaguered by problems find they walk alone, as no one, sometimes... not husband, wife, much less friends... walk with those who are beset
by problem after problem.


I recently heard a preacher talk about this, "Ziklag," experience and that sometimes you have to "encourage your own self!"

I think about the Haitian people and this most recent of "Ziklag" experiences that have beset them, and some may wonder why and how they can continue to have faith.

But the Haitian people are demonstrating their faith, when video after video shows them rising up and singing to God and having "faith" that he will deliver them from the current crisis.


Without faith, what have we?

Remember, too:

"Faith without works is dead!"

James 2:17

If we falter at the first sign of trouble, of course, we can never be tested at a higher level and will never be forced to demonstrate a higher level of faith.

"But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons."

Hebrews 11: 8

"...but for our profit [God chastens us] so that we might be partakers of his holiness." Hebrews 11: 10

Many do falter at those lower levels and go on to "live their lives in peace." But are they truly fulfilling the purpose for which they came down to Earth?

I believe we're here on Earth to manifest more and more of our Divine connection. If our lives are smooth and uncomplicated, at what level can we demonstrate that connection?

Indeed most people are unaware of the Spirit working in and through them and their lives, until they encounter a crisis and have an awakening that something greater than themselves took over. Some quickly go on to uncover more and more of this Power within them, while others quickly shut the lid on it and go on with their lives.


I heard a Haitian woman state that "God is in the midst of this...whatever we're going through God is in the midst of it."

Now, THAT is faith!

To be able to know that in the midst of the most "hellish" experience on Earth, God is right there, right then and in the midst of it is nothing short of the most TREMENDOUS faith a man or woman can demonstrate.

"A Pact with the Devil?"


I have to believe that these "Ziklag," experiences are coming to the Haitian people, NOT because of any "pact with the devil" but actually because of their CONTINUED DEMONSTRATION of FAITH in God.

God does not test us if he knows we can't take the HEAT!!!

Despite the fact that those "untroubled" folks are walking around with a perpetual smile on their faces and getting "bloated" with their success of conquering the world, I really don't think they have ANYTHING to celebrate.

Celebrate, friends, when even in the midst of "hell," you can stand firm and tell hell "I ain't coming with you!"

Now, that, my friends, is faith!

You may continue to talk about making "pacts with the devil" and you'll continue to walk this earth in this lifetime and the next looking to connect more closely with your Soul!


As for me and my house..."we will serve the Lord!" who is GOD in the midst of our trials!
