Oprah Winfrey has finally found her real sister...
Yes. Oprah always has embraced her best friend, Gayle King, as a sister. But based on what we know, we can only always see this relationship as a true, loyal and committed friendship.
We certainly can understand Oprah's need for true kinship when her own her blood-sister, Pat (Patricia), now deceased, sold the story of Oprah's pregnancy at age 14 to the tabloids.
Then along comes the other...Patricia.
This younger sister of Oprah is now 47 years old.
She was given up for adoption by their mother, Vernita Lee, who could not afford to keep her. Vernita kept Patricia's birth a secret from everyone but her cousin, Wanda.
Patricia searched and, through many fortuitous circumstances, finally found her mother in 2007.
But it was not a happy story then.
Patricia was denied a family reunion, when Vernita Lee refused to meet with her.
For many people, knowing that Oprah Winfrey is your sister would signal dollar signs, first, family committment...later...if you have no integrity and character!
But this Patricia, who spent her early years in foster homes and first became a mother age 17, to a daughter, then a son, had truth of character that was innate!
Patricia and her daughter and son stayed completely silent to strangers about their relationship with Oprah, the talk show queen.
Meanwhile, they quietly worked the family circuit to ensure they got a hearing.
Finally, they did!
On Thanksgiving Day 2010, Oprah and her sister, Patricia, finally connected.
Yes, Oprah, who was sold out so often, was stunned by the integrity of Patricia, this single mom of two, who was working two jobs at the time she met Oprah. So were we surprised at that level of integrity! The entire story was told on Oprah's show on Monday, January 24, 2011!
Patricia easily could have gotten several thousand dollars from the tabloids for spilling the news of her Oprah kinship.
Why didn't she?
Patricia said, "Family business needs to be handled by family."
I King 3:25-27:
"And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other.
"Then spake the woman whose the living child was unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it.
"But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, but divide it.
"The the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof."
We know the truth when we see and hear it.
Oprah finally has found her REAL sister.
Her name is Patricia.
Congratulations, Oprah.
Congratulations, Patricia.
Namaste',

This woman, Patricia, lets us know that they can put you wherever they want, it's what's inside of YOU that matters! She grew up in the foster care system, which obviously tends to get a bad rap, and managed to learn some very solid values about humanity and decency. Kudos to Patricia and her kids!
